Norsafe, one of the leading builders of lifeboat, also specializes in repair, refurbishment, and upgrading of all makes of lifeboats and MOB/rescue crafts.

Their qualified engineers use approved procedures in all aspects of boats and davits repair on and offshore. National bodies and class societies worldwide approve their facilities at Tromøy, Arendal.

The factory is fully equipped to carry out repair and refurbishment which can cover simple craft inspection and survey services up to complete refurbishment / upgrading and engine overhaul or replacement. Major and minor GRP repairs can be made within the specialist repair shop and repainting done within their dedicated spray booth.

Norsafe recommends the use of approved manufactures replacement components. Parts are
quickly and cost efficiently sourced from the Company's detailed records. This Company aims to
meet all client requirements in a timely fashion.

Repair and Refurbishment Services offered at the Norsafe premise for all makes of lifeboats:
-Complete strip out and rebuilding carrying out repairs as necessary
-Engine/waterjet overhaul or replacement
-Fitting of new and improved starter system
-Replacement of electric wiring and electric components
-Fitting of new and improved sprinkler system
-Fitting of steering nozzle to replace spade rudder for increased power and maneuverability
-Fitting of 'on load' release hooks
-Fitting of bow thrusters to increase maneuverability.
