Scan Pacific Marine offers a wide range of standard and tailor made Hydramarine winches to meet the customers' specificaitons. These winches can be delivered with a wide range of optional functions: wire spooling, grooved drums, auto variable winch speed, constant tension, wave compensation, emergency lowering/release, control systems and wire guide systems.

The well known Hydramarine VHSS wire spooling system, delivered as part of more than 500 winches, ensures excellent wire spooling, even of extremely long ropes, without any need for a defined minimum distance between the winch and the first fixed wiresheave. Winches with this system implemented are therefore simple and flexible to install in places with limited space.

The winches may be designed for topside high speed lifting or subsea lifting/tensioning and hydrographic sampling. The winches can be delivered as separate units/systems or integrated in other total systems.
